The stacking base NEMO of S•CAB, designed by Architect Roberto Semprini, won the 2016-2017 A’Design Award in the category ‘Furniture, Decorative Items and Homeware Design’. The NEMO base interprets the fluid shape of a fish, and its surface, completely free of edges, seems to float in the air. Designed mainly to meet the needs of the world of contract and hospitality, where practicality, compactness, comfort, and style are indispensable, it is a base suitable for outdoor and indoor use, with round or square top. A’Design Award and Competition is the world’s biggest design contest, born in 2009 from a study by the Politecnico di Milano, and awards the best designs, design ideas, and products & services, becoming a quality indicator on an international level.
