S•CAB enters the Special Register of Historic Trademarks of National Interest
A significant accomplishment and cause for celebration for S•CAB, a producer of furniture and accessories since 1957, which has been listed in the Special Register of Historic Trademarks of National Interest.
On obtaining the registration, Francesca Battaglia, Sales Director for Italy and co-owner of the Brescia-based company, stated: “We are very happy, this achievement is a milestone that belongs to three generations of a family whose founder, Francesco Battaglia, imparted the value of working passionately and boldly towards the future, with the aim of fostering Italian savoir-faire.”

The Special Register of Historic Trademarks of National Interest was established at the Italian Patents and Trademarks Office of the Ministry of Economic Development for national manufacturing companies of the highest calibre with historical ties to the national territory.
Francesca Battaglia continued: “Over the past 60 or more years of operation, S•CAB has changed and improved to better serve the needs of the market. Everyone’s combined dedication has yielded numerous satisfactions and rewards. Being included in the Special Register of Historic Trademarks of National Interest is an opportunity to rediscover our drive and enthusiasm to keep moving forward, also thanks to the contribution of collaborations with well-known and highly acclaimed designers, most recently with gumdesign and Studio Meneghello Paolelli.”
Today, S•CAB is a brand valued and appreciated on a global scale, recognised for its natural capacity for renewal and change.
