For our new HUG seating collection, designed by Meneghello Paolelli, we chose the certified regenerated post-consumer industrial PCR technopolymer, obtained from the processing and regeneration of production residues thanks to the use of energy from renewable sources. 

HUG is technically a monocoque, but it is actually a flexible system in which the components combine to create different chair and armchair configurations. Designed for the outdoors, it also fits well in interior spaces, with the possibility of covering some of its parts with fabric.

The concept of this chair comes from the balance between the two key elements: seat and back. Two equivalent soft shapes in perfect balance. The introduction of the band creates a bridge between seat and back, a discreet connection that substantially transforms the chair, thus creating a new product. The chair is enveloped in a real and proper hug.
